Meet Dr. Milton Muldrow, Chair of Science at Wilmington University and Associate Director of the Delaware NASA Space Grant Project. Through Muldrow’s leadership, research and involvement with NASA, Dr. Muldrow is changing the STEM landscape for Delaware.

Tyler Kurtz serves as an account manager at the Rehoboth Beach office of the Lyon Companies, a commercial insurance brokerage. Attracted to Delaware’s coastal environment, this millennial outdoor adventurer is embracing all that Delaware has to offer.

Dr. Young is bringing an academic legacy into the future as founding director of the Goldey-Beacom College Doctor of Business Administration Program. A Delaware native and UD grad, he is inspiring doctoral students with his business acumen and entrepreneurial expertise.

Beach received his MFA from the University of Delaware and works out of a studio he owns in Newport. He’s respected for his painting and sculpture work and has a permanent piece at the Delaware Art Museum.

Berry comes from a long line of Delawareans from Sussex and Kent counties, many of them educators who undoubtedly helped inspire her to create a service/learning high school focused on Bryan’s concept of the power of proximity.

Eldridge is a co-founder of Code Differently — which aims to increase diversity and technology directly in the workplace. In just two years, Code Differently has made huge strides by working with minority students in college primarily as computer science or engineering majors.

Huttie graduated from Dover High School and received a full scholarship to Delaware State University through the Scholar Teach Educators Program (STEP) and in 2018 was named Capital District Teacher of the Year.

Futures First Gaming aims to create an Esports industry pipeline in Delaware by launching competitive events, gaming camps and college outreach programs which hope to encourage Black gamers to pursue STEM degrees.

Norman has held this position since 2002 and is widely credited with pooling together all library resources in the state to create the first statewide Delaware Library Catalog, one of only a handful of statewide catalogs in the U.S.

Davison has owned the ever-popular, smile-inducing Bad Hair Day? Salon in Rehoboth for 28 years now and couldn’t be happier to be working in his home state in the town he calls the “most gay-friendly” in Delaware.

Xiques-Arnold began her dance training in Dover and was on her way to a career as a professional dancer when an ankle injury curtailed her plans. Once home in Delaware, she seized opportunity and now owns a successful dance studio.

A graduate of Christiana HS and University of Delaware, Pfeifer loves telling the stories of the people and brands in Delaware through his Wilmington-based video production firm and credits strategic networking for his company’s successful launch.

Sam and his wife, Mariah, who was born and bred in Milford, have loved every minute of their 25-year journey guiding Dogfish Head into one of the largest and most-renowned craft breweries in the country, all from coastal Delaware.

Born and raised in Wilmington and a UD grad, Del Fabbro has been CEO at M. Davis & Sons, one of the state’s leading industrial and construction contractors, for over a decade and is the fifth generation of her family to have worked there.

Sussex County native Kevin Short launched an audio installation company in 1983, which has evolved into a full-service event production company and recording studio. He credits the local business community with helping to grow his business.
